Overview
Final cementation is the appointment where a finished restoration, such as a veneer, crown or bridge, is permanently fixed to your tooth. Any temporary is removed first.
Your dentist checks the fit, colour and bite, then bonds the restoration and cleans away any excess. After this it is a fixed part of your smile.

Common questions
Will I be numb for this visit?
Local anaesthetic is used if the tooth is sensitive, though some cementation visits need none.
Can the colour still be changed?
Colour is confirmed before bonding. Once cemented, the shade is set, so it is checked carefully first.
Will my bite be checked?
Yes. Your dentist adjusts the bite so the restoration feels comfortable and even.
How should I care for it after?
Brush and clean between the teeth as normal (floss, interdental brushes or a water flosser), and keep up your check-ups. Your dentist will give any specific advice.
