Overview

PRF is made from a small sample of your own blood, spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and natural growth factors into a soft gel or membrane. Placed into an extraction socket or surgical site, it acts as a natural scaffold that can support healing and may reduce discomfort and the risk of dry socket.

Common questions

Where does it come from?
From you. We take a small blood sample at your appointment and prepare the PRF on the spot — nothing artificial is added.
What is it used for?
Commonly with extractions, socket preservation, implants and grafting, where it acts as a natural, growth-factor-rich scaffold.
What are the benefits?
It can speed soft-tissue healing, help protect the site, and may lower the chance of dry socket and infection.
