A Kois deprogrammer is a small removable appliance worn for a short time. It stops the back teeth touching, which lets the jaw muscles relax and settle into a more natural position.
Once the muscles are relaxed, your dentist can study how your jaw really closes. This helps plan treatment for bite problems, grinding or jaw discomfort more accurately.
