Overview

A night guard, or occlusal splint, is a custom-made cover for your upper or lower teeth. You wear it during sleep to cushion the teeth from grinding and clenching.

It does not stop you grinding, but it protects your teeth from wear and can ease pressure on the jaw muscles and joints. It is made from a mould or scan of your teeth.
